About Sagar Songom
My name is Sagar Songom Dihingia, professionally known as Sagar Songom. I am a passionate content writer and creator from Assam, India. Alongside my creative pursuits, I have been working as an Assistant Director in the since 2013.
I began my writing journey in June 2016 with Bishoi, Assam’s most popular Assamese monthly magazine, edited by Sashi Phukan. From September 2016 to January 2019, I also served as a Sub-Editor at a leading Assamese daily newspaper, gaining valuable experience in journalism and editorial work.
As a scriptwriter, I have contributed to various Assamese television shows. I wrote several episodes of the TV serial "Amarapali," which aired on Assam’s most popular TV channel Rang. I also worked on the TV serial "Adarar Achor," which was telecast on Rengoni, another well-known Assamese TV channel.
Currently, I am working as an Assistant Director for Assam’s most popular TV serial, Beharbari Outpost. It holds the distinction of being the longest-running TV serial in Northeast India, having crossed 3000 episodes.
In addition to my work in television, I also work as a freelance content writer and creator, offering creative writing, storytelling, and content solutions across various platforms.
