Words That Inspire, Stories That Transform
About Me
Hello, I’m Sagar Songom Dihingia, professionally known as Sagar Songom—a content writer, scriptwriter, dubbing coordinator, creative storyteller, numerologist, and spiritual guide from Assam, India. My journey in the media and entertainment industry spans more than a decade, during which I have dedicated myself to the art of storytelling, journalism, television production, and content development.
My professional career began in June 2016 when I joined Bishmoi, one of Assam’s respected Assamese monthly magazines edited by Sashi Phukan. Working with the publication gave me the opportunity to sharpen my writing skills and understand the importance of meaningful storytelling. It was here that I learned how words can educate, inspire, and connect with people across different backgrounds.
From September 2016 to January 2019, I served as a Sub-Editor at a leading Assamese daily newspaper. During this period, I gained extensive experience in journalism, news editing, proofreading, headline writing, and structured content creation. The fast-paced newsroom environment strengthened my ability to work under deadlines while maintaining accuracy, creativity, and editorial excellence.
My passion for visual storytelling eventually led me into the television industry, where I began contributing as a scriptwriter for Assamese serials. I had the privilege of working on projects such as Amarapali (Rang) and Adarar Achor (Rengoni), creating scripts that resonated with audiences through compelling narratives and relatable characters.
One of the most significant milestones in my career was my association with Beharbari Outpost, the longest-running television serial in Northeast India with more than 3,500 episodes. As an Assistant Director, I gained valuable production experience and collaborated closely with talented artists and technicians. During the period when the show aired in a one-hour format, I also wrote several episodes, further strengthening my expertise in television scriptwriting and episodic storytelling.
Currently, I am working as a Writer and Dubbing Coordinator for the Hindi mythology series Karmadhikari Shani Dev. The show was previously telecast on Shemaroo, and I am actively involved in producing its Assamese dubbed version for Rengoni Channel, operated by AM Television Pvt. Ltd. My responsibilities include adapting scripts from Hindi into Assamese while preserving their original meaning, emotional depth, and cultural relevance. I also coordinate the dubbing process to ensure linguistic authenticity and a seamless viewing experience for regional audiences.
In addition to my television career, I work as a freelance content creator, offering a wide range of professional services, including television and digital scriptwriting, creative storytelling, dubbing script adaptation and coordination, concept development, and multilingual translation. I specialize in Hindi–Assamese, Bengali–Assamese, and English–Assamese translations, helping creators and organizations communicate effectively across languages and cultures.
Beyond my creative profession, I have a deep interest in numerology and spirituality, where I strive to guide individuals toward self-awareness, clarity, and personal growth. I believe that creativity and spirituality complement each other, enabling people to discover purpose and make meaningful life decisions.
For me, storytelling is far more than a career—it is a lifelong mission to preserve culture, inspire audiences, and create positive change through words and ideas. Whether I am writing a script, coordinating a dubbing project, developing content, or offering guidance, my goal is always to deliver work that is authentic, impactful, and memorable.
I welcome opportunities to collaborate with filmmakers, production houses, brands, publishers, and individuals who value creativity, professionalism, and meaningful communication. Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to connecting with you and creating something truly remarkable together.
